What if the P-rating is too low?
If the P-rating is too low for that location, the floor needs a facilities remedy — not a reprint of the report. A wet-pendulum result below the figure recommended for a kitchen, bathroom, entry or similar wet area is a works job. We choose the path after reading the PDF.

No. Replace the floor after a failed slip test only when the existing covering cannot be brought to the required rating without destroying it. If cleaning, anti-slip treatment or a grind will do, that is the opinion we write.
What should I do with an AS 4663 report?
Read the locations and P-ratings, then send the AS 4663 report to a contractor who will write what to do with the floor. Photos help; they do not replace the table of results. Upload the report and we work from the PDF you already hold.
Is the works report a compliance certificate?
No. The works report describes what we did; a retest is a separate measurement. The document we leave after grinding, treating or replacing a floor is not a substitute for a new pendulum reading.
Will you guarantee the floor will pass a retest?
No. We recommend a path and carry out the works. A new measurement is arranged afterwards. Until that retest exists, nobody here will promise a pass or a particular P-rating.
Do you work only in one city?
No. We work across Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. We attend the floor on your site. The job is that covering, not a head-office story.
Can you start without the PDF?
We can talk. A written opinion and a works quote still need the result — the PDF, or at least the locations and P-ratings from it. Use the contact form if the tester has not sent the file yet, or call 1300 207 915.
