Questions before you send the report

What do you need in the upload?
The slip test PDF is the essential file — an AS 4663 or wet-pendulum report. Photos of the covering help. Name, email, phone, site address, area type and any deadline sit around that file so we can write an opinion that matches the location, not a generic kitchen.
Will you guarantee the floor will pass a retest?
No. We recommend a path and carry out the works. A new measurement is arranged afterwards. Until that retest exists, nobody here will promise a pass, a P5, or a 24-hour turnaround to a rating.
Is the works report a compliance certificate?
No. The works report describes what we did; a retest is a separate measurement.
How do you choose between clean, treat, grind and replace?
By the covering and the P-rating the area is supposed to meet. If chemistry and method will restore grip that the floor already has, we stop there. If the face can take an anti-slip treatment, we specify one for that substrate. If the face has to be opened, we grind. If the covering cannot be saved, we replace it. See treatments.
What is a P-rating?
A P-rating is the classification from a wet-pendulum test, from P0 to P5. Higher means more grip when wet. What a kitchen, bathroom, entry, pool surround, hospital or school area is expected to achieve is set out in guidance such as HB 198 and in the NCC. Your report tells you what the floor did on the day it was tested.
Do you work only in one city?
No. Works are national. The job is the floor on your site. We do not sell a head-office story with the quote.
Can you start without the PDF?
We can talk. A written opinion and a works quote still need the result — the PDF, or at least the locations and P-ratings from it. Use the contact form if the tester has not sent the file yet, or call 1300 207 915.
Who is SlipRectify?
